Supporting you through all of life’s challenges

Personalized therapy options for every client.

Meet Lyla Nicole

I began my career in counseling in 2005. I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and Social Work from Stephen F. Austin State University. Then graduated from Houston Christian University with a Masters of Arts in Psychology. I am a licensed professional counselor through the Texas State Board of Professionals. As an LPC with 20 years experience my passion has been working with adolescent and their parents to navigate life challenges. I have worked in non-profit and criminal justice settings providing individual, group, and family therapy. I held leadership positions while working for a healthcare provider network that focuses on coordinating patient care. This variety of experiences have enabled me to understand how important adjusting to changes and challenges are both professionally and personally. Change is constant and understanding all aspects of ourselves — emotionally, mentally, and physically — is of the utmost importance.

My Approach

My approach is individualized to meet your needs. I am here to listen and facilitate healthy changes and provide tools and methods to help make those changes. Therapy is most transformative when the relationship between you and me is authentic and honest.
